The Sourcing.sh blog
Freshness is the only quality metric that matters
A business base ages 2 to 3% per month. Here's how we measure — and publish — the freshness of each recording.

A business database is never wrong on the day it is delivered. She becomes it. The workforce changes, the stacks change, offers close, domains migrate. On average, 2 to 3% of the attributes in a B2B database become obsolete each month.
This is why each Sourcing.sh record carries three non-negotiable metadata: its source, its collection date and its last verification date. They are exposed in the API, in exports and in the public dashboard.
Concretely, an active segment is rescanned daily, a dormant segment weekly. When a career page disappears, the hiring signal is closed and dated — it's not deleted, it becomes actionable history.
The commercial consequence is direct: when a figure is dated and sourced, it can be cited in an outgoing message. Verifiable proof is better than a generic hook.
